About The Position

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist to join our growing behavioral health team.This position is primarily outpatient at this time. Position Highlights: Primary outpatient psychiatry Assist in coverage of inpatient services as needed Expected schedule: M-F Required to supervise mid-levels (APPs) Opportunities to pick up additional shifts for consults via telehealth and/or in-person across the Piedmont system Open to supervision of medical students Call (if needed) for outpatient clinic Epic EMR

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
• Active or eligible for medical licensure in Georgia
• Experience supervising APPs is preferred
• Strong clinical and leadership skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with ketamine and TMS preferred
• Experience treating both adults and adolescents preferred

Responsibilities

• Primary outpatient psychiatry
