About The Position

St. Cloud Orthopedic Associates (SCO) is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our independently owned, physician-led orthopedic practice, where you’ll partner closely with surgeons to deliver high-quality, hands-on musculoskeletal care in both clinic and OR settings while building a long-term career in a community-focused organization. You’ll: Perform orthopedic evaluations and screenings Develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians Assist in surgical procedures (1st or 2nd assist) Perform procedures such as injections, aspirations, suturing, pin removal Apply/remove casts, splints, orthotics, and dressings Provide patient education with compassion and clarity Document care in the EHR and coordinate with the care team Participate in rotating on-call schedule Support continuity of care across clinic and OR settings What We’re Looking For Master’s degree from an accredited PA program Current Minnesota PA license (or eligible) BLS/CPR certification Orthopedic experience preferred (new grads with strong clinical rotations encouraged to apply) Team-first mindset with strong clinical judgment Comfort in both clinic and surgical environments Work Environment & Physical Requirements This is a hands-on clinical role involving patient mobility support, lifting, positioning, and procedural assistance in both clinic and OR settings.
