Requirements

  • Certified as a Physician Assistant by NCCPA or eligible for certification
  • Two years of experience are preferred. Recent graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Dedicated to providing compassionate and patient-centered care
  • EMR system adaptability
  • Microsoft Office experience

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients presenting with chronic pain conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with Dr. Saifullah.
  • Assist in performing various diagnostic procedures, including but not limited to joint injections, trigger point injections, epidural steroid injections, RFAs and SCS trials.
  • Educate patients on pain management techniques, lifestyle modifications, and self-care strategies.
  • Prescribe therapy and or medication per practice guidelines
  • Maintain accurate electronic medical records of patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Adhere to all documentation standards and protocols.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines to enhance patient care outcomes and safety.
  • Maintain and renew required licensing.
  • Practice in accordance with policies, protocols and state/national regulatory licensing guidelines.
