We are seeking a Surgical Oncology Physician Assistant to become an integral part of our dynamic surgical team. Position Highlights: Full-Time role based at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, with occasional coverage at other metro Allina Health Cancer Institute locations. Schedule: Monday–Friday, with weekend rounding approximately 1 in every 7 weeks. Primary Responsibilities: Serve as a key member of the surgical team, with a primary focus in the Operating Room (OR) supporting procedures in: Breast Surgery Surgical Oncology Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) Thoracic Surgery Urology Gynecology Provide some inpatient rounding across these multidisciplinary surgical specialties. Job Description: Provides help with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments and consultations as part of a Physician/Physician Assistant team in accordance with the designated specialty. Works in both inpatient and outpatient situations and can perform independently or as part of a treatment team. Serves as an educator, case manager, consultant to staff and multidisciplinary health care team.
