Physician Assistant - Orthopaedics Oncology (Hip/Knee)
About The Position
We are looking for a highly motivated, and detailed oriented Advanced Practice Provider to join our Orthopaedics department, primarily working with our new Orthopaedics Oncology Surgeon who also has interest in Hip and Knee. Primary duties would include running independent clinic and supporting our surgeons. OR assist and inpatient duties also included. Responsible for assisting physicians in the medical care and management of patients, performing such functions as making rounds, physical examinations, and other patient examinations, injections, care of wounds, arranging for patient referrals.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA approved Physician Assistant Program or baccalaureate or higher degree program that meets licensure requirements in the State of employment
- National Certification in State of employment or in another State with reciprocity and licensure to practice in the State of employment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
