We are searching for a Physician Assistant or a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner who is motivated to work in an exciting pediatric setting! In this position, you will practice in an advanced role to provide developmentally appropriate and age-appropriate health maintenance for well children, episodic care for ill children, and comprehensive care for children with chronic conditions. The NP or PA works under a delineation of clinical privileges and will work collaboratively with other members of the health care team. Practice under established guidelines and clinical protocols, the APP assumes independent and interdependent responsibilities in the assessment, diagnosis and initiation of treatment and procedures. Job duties are performed in a manner that is developmentally appropriate for the ages of patients served. As an advanced practice provider, the NP or PA is responsible for education, research, consultation, and evaluation of clinical practice at various levels. Qualifications: Physician Assistant: Required Bachelor's Degree PA -Cert-Physician Assistant by the Texas Medical Board Pediatric experience strongly preferred. Nurse Practitioner: Master's degree in nursing required RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing or Nursing Licensure Compact required FNP, NNP, PNP-BC, WHNP-BC, CPNP-AC, or AG-ACNP from the Texas Board of Nursing required PNP-PC strongly preferred As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace, all successful candidates will be required to undergo respiratory fit testing in compliance with occupational health and safety standards.
