UPMC Harrisburg, Brady Building is hiring a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Acute Care to help support our Children's Neurosurgery Dept. The ideal candidate has experience in Neurosurgery- 3-6 months of training at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh will be required. Hours: 3 days of clinic 9-4pm, 1 day of surgical assist, 4-5 days of postoperative call Location: 205 South Front Street Harrisburg: Brady Building Position/Department Details: The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh Physicians, UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and UPMC Harrisburg Hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) to join our Children’s Specialty Services practice in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania area. This is an exciting opportunity for successful candidates to train at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh for 3-6 months and then assist with expanding pediatric services in the central Pennsylvania area. UPMC Children’s Harrisburg is a newly remodeled pediatric unit within UPMC Harrisburg Hospital, featuring both Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU) and General Pediatric services. The unit currently includes 16 inpatient beds, with planned expansion to 30 beds. The hospital campus also includes a newly built Women’s and Babies Center and a Level III NICU, supporting comprehensive pediatric and neonatal care. The pediatric medical staff is multidisciplinary and collaborative, including pediatric hospitalists, intensivists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, gastroenterologists, neurologists, ophthalmologists, pediatric surgeons, and advanced practice providers. Our team delivers high-quality, family-centered care with strong subspecialty support.
