About The Position

GoHealth Urgent Care, in partnership with UPMC Health System, is seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join their team in the greater Pittsburgh area and across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. They operate a substantial network of urgent care centers equipped with advanced technology, including an integrated EPIC EMR, POC testing, and on-site X-ray, aiming for clinical excellence, efficiency, and safe care. Team members will work in a clean, quiet, and well-maintained healthcare setting, collaborating with on-site Rad Techs and Medical Assistants as clinical team leaders. The role offers scheduling flexibility for vacations and wellness days, with weekend shifts and limited on-call availability required. Each team member is assigned a primary anchor/home center and secondary centers nearby. Requirements

  • 1 year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years of Urgent Care setting experience
  • Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience
  • Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.)
  • Comfortable with preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays
  • Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting
  • For Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification
  • For Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification

  • Collaborate with an on-site Rad Tech and Medical Assistants as a clinical team leader
  • Share experience and training with other clinicians and staff
