About The Position
Vivo HealthStaff is recruiting for a Physician Assistant - Occupational Medicine in Newport News , VA . This is a locum position with competitive salary and travel allowance.. Job Details: Start Date: February 7, 2025, with ongoing needs. Reason for Coverage: To support two full-time providers during time off or vacancies. Practice Setting: Occupational Health. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to close (typically 4:30 PM, but may extend due to walk-in injuries). Average Patients Per Day: 8-10. EMR System: Systoc. Exam Rooms: 5. On-Site Team: Includes RNs, RTs, MAs, LPN, RN Supervisor, Office Manager, and PSRs.
Requirements
- Board Certification: Required
- Licensure: Active Virginia license required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DOT certification required
- Availability: Must be noted at the time of submission, with preference for providers who can cover all dates
