About The Position
Become an integral part of our renowned Labor and Delivery service, where you’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to women throughout all stages of life. Our OB/GYN department offers: A family-centered birthing experience A dedicated mother/baby unit A state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Prenatal testing and genetic counseling services
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies
- Active New York State PA License
- Current NCCPA Certification
- ACLS and BLS Certification
- NYS Infection Control Certification
- DEA Registration with compliance in NYS Opioid Prescriber Training
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in OB/GYN or hospital medicine
Responsibilities
- Manage labor & delivery, postpartum, and antepartum patients
- Admit patients to labor & delivery and antepartum services
- Assist with labor floor/postpartum emergencies and cesarean sections
- First-assist in the operating room
