Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner-Bone Marrow Transplant/ACGT-32 Hours
About The Position
The APP position is to provide clinical coverage as part of an advanced practitioner team within the Advanced Cellular and Gene Therapy Unit. This position will work across both inpatient and outpatient settings, managing the full continuum of transplant care. This APP position will complete thorough evaluations of pediatric bone marrow transplant patients (from neonates to adolescents and young adults) with increasing independence, while working closely with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and advanced practitioners. Recommends broad evaluation based on prioritized focused differential diagnosis. Interprets clinical significance of diagnostic study results. Collaborates care with the supervising physician and inter-professional team. Develops an interdisciplinary management plan for common and typical diagnoses. Responsibilities
