About The Position

The APP Team Lead in Bone Marrow Transplant plays a key role in delivering comprehensive, family‑centered care to children undergoing hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. This advanced practice provider works across both inpatient and outpatient settings, managing the full continuum of transplant care. The APP Team Lead provides direct clinical management, patient and family education, coordination of multidisciplinary services, and performs specialized procedures essential to transplant care. The APP Team Lead is accountable for direct oversight of all APPs (Physician Assistants and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses) within their clinical department. The APP Team Lead will provide direct APP clinical supervision, develop and implement the APP work schedule, develop and monitor APP annual performance goals and objectives, provide APP education and professional development, and encourage advancement within the APP Career Ladder. The APP Team Lead will assist with new APP recruitment, hiring, and coordinate on-boarding activities to ensure successful transition to practice.
