About The Position
Neurological conditions touch every aspect of a patient’s life. We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to support our growing Neurology service and help expand patient access to high-quality care. The Physician Assistant provides medical consultation, routine patient care, and follow up as directed. The Physician Assistant assists physician with procedures and serves as a liaison between the physician and the patient. Responsibilities
- Improve patient access by conducting new patient evaluations, follow-up visits, and urgent access appointments
- Perform neurology-related procedures within scope and competency
- Manage medication renewals and titration protocols in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Provide ongoing care for stable chronic neurology patients under a collaborative practice model
- Streamline documentation and support workflow efficiencies to reduce provider administrative burden
- Provides medical consultation, routine patient care, and follow up as directed
- Assists physician with procedures and serves as a liaison between the physician and the patient
- Adheres to National Patient Safety Goals as appropriate based on the level of patient contact this position requires
