About The Position

Under the direction of the attending physicians, the Physician Assistant provides general medical care for the Practice to ensure patients' needs are met in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements

• BS from an AMA accredited Physician Assistant Program
• Licensed to practice as a Physician's Assistant in the State of Maryland
• Current BLS (CPR) in compliance with policy
• ACLS and PALS (if applicable) are required if a code cart is maintained in the practice
• Wound Center Physician Assistant requires ACLS, PALS, and BLS
• Fluency in coding, ICD-9 and CPT, or commitment to acquire
• Ability to use Meditech (PCI) and electronic health record (Allscripts) software, Internet, and Intranet

Nice To Haves

• At least one year experience in a medical office setting
