About The Position

Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to join a successful, well established group of physicians. The staffing model is 4:1 Medically Directed, with 10 Anesthesiologists and 31 CRNAs. The schedule is Monday–Friday, with no nights, weekends, or call, and no work on Sanford recognized holidays. This position offers full-time or part-time employment options to support the services of the Outpatient Surgery Center, providing an excellent work-life balance in a collaborative environment. It includes 10 weeks of vacation per year for a 1.0 FTE. Requirements

M.D. or D.O. degree
An applicant who has just completed a fellowship shall provide his/her fellowship log
An applicant who is not applying directly out of a residency shall provide a quality profile from hospital(s) where he/she currently has privileges showing his/her clinical activity for the past 24 months, including numbers of procedures performed morbidity, mortality, infection rates and other complications
The applicant must be able to demonstrate active involvement in at least 200 Anesthesia cases in the last 24 months
Successful completion of a hospital affiliated residency/fellowship of at least 3-4 years’ duration in Anesthesia accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada in the residency
Certification by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
Those applicants who are not board certified at the time of application but who have completed their residency training within the last five years shall be eligible, however must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of their residency training unless appropriate governing Board waives such requirement
