About The Position

This position is for a Physical Therapy Technician at the Holiday Manor Center in Louisville, KY. It is a part-time role with varying weekday schedules, offering $9/hour (pending experience). The technician will assist therapists in rehabilitation procedures and support center operations, playing an integral role in helping patients on their rehabilitation journey in an outpatient physical therapy setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science/Health Sciences
• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
