About The Position

This position is for a Physical Therapy Technician at KORT in Louisville, KY (St. Matthew location). It is a part-time role with varying weekday schedules (7am to 5pm OR 8am to 6pm) and a compensation of $10.50/hour, pending experience. The role involves assisting therapists in rehabilitation procedures and supporting center operations in an outpatient physical therapy setting. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science/Health Sciences
• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
