About The Position

This position is for a Physical Therapy Technician at KORT in Bowling Green, KY. It is a PRN/Per diem role with a schedule of 15 to 20 hours per week on weekdays. The technician will assist therapists in rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting center operations. The role is designed for individuals passionate about helping patients on their rehabilitation journey and who enjoy working in an outpatient physical therapy setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science/Health Sciences
• CPR certification
• First aid certification
• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center

Responsibilities

• Aide therapists in carrying out rehabilitation procedures, organize/schedule and keep records of ancillary services and support other center-specific functions
• Observe and report any abnormal patient conditions, reactions or responses to treatment
• Play a significant role in specific area of center operations (scheduling ancillary services and following up, overseeing a specific program, serving as OSHA coordinator, etc.)
• Clean, sterilize and prepare equipment
