About The Position

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, offers a revolutionary neurorehabilitation program that moves individuals outside institutional settings into their natural home and community environment. This continuum of care is designed to help people who have experienced brain injury, spinal cord injury, or stroke/CVA regain functional capabilities. This role supports daily outpatient clinic operations and assists therapists in providing high-quality patient care, fostering a positive, collaborative culture where patients and teammates feel supported. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma
  • Demonstrates effective and professional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Able to work independently and part of a team
  • Maintains a valid driver’s license and current auto liability insurance coverage and has a minimum of two years’ experience driving a motor vehicle
  • Motor vehicle driver record background check results are within acceptable company standards at time of hire and annually thereafter

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of six months prior work/volunteer experience providing an individual instruction, preferably in a health care environment
  • Strong interest in physical, occupational and/or speech therapy

Responsibilities

  • Assists in implementing treatment activities assigned and supported by the Physical/Occupational/Speech Therapists and/or Assistants
  • Helps record patient progress for the therapists as requested
  • Works well with patients and team, maintaining professional communication and boundaries
  • Reports any safety concerns, or issues to management immediately
  • Keeps treatment areas organized and clean
  • Accompanies patients on community outings, as needed
  • Drives the van transporting patients on community outings, as needed
  • Maintains the highest standards of professional conduct in relation to information that is confidential in nature. Shares information only when recipient's right to access is clearly established and sharing of such information is in the best interest of the patient
  • Adheres to and participates in Company’s mandatory Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act privacy program/practices and Business Ethics and Compliance programs/practices
  • Maintains a professional appearance, is reliable and punctual, cooperative and conducts self in accordance with accepted standards of professional practice during assigned duties
  • Attends/participates in internal staff development programs as required by facility
  • Performs other duties as assigned
