Physical Therapy Assistant Position Summary PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT - PER DIEM-HOURLY For over 40 years, North Hill, a not-for-profit senior living community located in Needham, Massachusetts, has provided vibrant living opportunities to people 65+ by offering a host of hospitality, wellness and health care services. The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment to patients, functioning as a member of the interdisciplinary team, providing patient and family education and counseling regarding concerns, planning, implementing and modifying treatment procedures, maintaining appropriate documentation. Position Summary The Physical T herapist Assistant will work closely with Residents , family members, and T eam M embers to implement and execute an established Residents treatment under the supervision of the licensed therapist. Responsibilities

• Demonstrates consistent knowledge and application of Medicare and o ther reimbursement regulations
• Follows through with treatment plans for functional, goal-based outcomes and ensures approval for ser vices from referring physician
• Treat s Residents according to treatment plan
• Record s clinical documentation according to regulatory and professional guidelines
• Record s daily treatment charges p er approved billing guidelines
• Instruct s families and nursing staff regar ding restorative/home programs
• Par ticipates in discharge planning
• Communicate s with supervisor and other clinical T eam M embers regarding Residents care needs , pr ogress , and plans
• Provides coverage cross campus as needed
• Recognize s and report s all allegations of R esident abuse, neglect, exploitation, social media exposure , and/or misappropriation of R esident property immediately
• Participate s in interdisciplinary team meetings, Residents care conferences, utilization review meetings, and other m eetings as or directed
• Coordinate s with members of other departments, attending physicians, committee members, and other sta ff within the Rehab department
• Assist s with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area s and department
