About The Position

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) assists the Physical Therapist in providing physical therapy treatments and procedures within an outpatient setting.

Requirements

• Graduate of accredited Physical Therapy Assistant educational program
• Must possess a current Maryland State Board Physical Therapist Assistant license.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy treatments (including home instruction) within scope of physical therapy practice appropriately and monitors patient responses to such treatments.
• Completed required documentation per compliance and regulatory guidelines.
• Notifies evaluating Physical Therapist of any matters pertaining to the care of the patient as needed.
