Provides physical therapy treatment in Skilled Nursing, Acute Care, and supports in Outpatient rehabilitation as needed under the direct supervision of a Physical Therapist following the treatment plan as developed by a PT. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering treatment and physical interventions for patients under a care plan established by a physical therapist. Along with providing quality treatment to our patients, you will keep medical records up to date, complete and in accordance with department and hospital guidelines for patients served. You will be part of a great team! You will work collaboratively with a licensed Physical Therapist along with providing supervision to Rehab Aides during clinical treatment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved Physical Therapist Assistant Program.
  • Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
  • MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous clinical experience in skilled nursing setting desirable but not mandatory for this position.
