About The Position

West Lafayette Medical Center 915 Sagamore Parkway W West Lafayette, Indiana 47906 The Physical Therapy Assistant I is responsible to the Department Director and supervising Physical Therapist, to provide treatment to the patient prescribed by the physician within the guidelines of the Physical Therapy Practice Act, and hospital and departmental policies and procedures. This position implements the plan of care to restore and enhance performance. This position also performs documentation and quality improvement, as outlined in departmental policies and procedures. You will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative team of physicians, physical, occupational, and speech therapists while providing one on one care to patients. Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
  • Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
  • Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
