Physical Therapy Assistant-Homecare - Full-Time Eddy VNRA has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Physical Therapy Assistant responsible to collaborate with a team of Physical Therapists to manage a caseload of patients requiring home-based therapy, primarily post-acute or subacute. Requirements

  • NYS PTA Licensure
  • Minimum one year of experience working with adult and/or geriatric population
  • Care for one patient at a time.

Nice To Haves

  • Home care experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Promotes/provides physical therapy services in the home to assist the patient in achieving his/her optimal level of functioning.
  • Evaluates and treats individuals with functional deficits secondary to neurologic, orthopedic and medical conditions.
  • Care for one patient at a time.
