Requirements
- Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program
- Active California PTA license (in good standing)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing or rehab (preferred)
- Comfort with systems like Net Health & PointClickCare
Responsibilities
- Partner with a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver personalized treatments
- Help residents improve mobility, reduce pain, and build confidence
- Track and document progress with accuracy and compliance
- Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and fall prevention
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to achieve the best outcomes
- Support staff training and participate in rehab program development
- Recommend assistive devices that enhance independence and quality of life
