Requirements

  • Associate Degree from an accredited PTA program
  • Active California PTA license (in good standing)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in skilled nursing or rehab (preferred)
  • Comfort with systems like Net Health & PointClickCare

Responsibilities

  • Partner with a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver personalized treatments
  • Help residents improve mobility, reduce pain, and build confidence
  • Track and document progress with accuracy and compliance
  • Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and fall prevention
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to achieve the best outcomes
  • Support staff training and participate in rehab program development
  • Recommend assistive devices that enhance independence and quality of life
