About The Position

Platinum TherapEASE Staffing is a leading provider of rehabilitation staffing services for skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) across the country. With a focus on quality care and positive patient outcomes, our team of experienced therapists is dedicated to helping patients achieve their highest level of function and independence. We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. In this full-time role, you will work under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists to provide hands-on patient care, assist in implementing treatment plans, and contribute to optimal recovery outcomes for our patients.

Requirements

  • Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of rehabilitation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Physical Therapists in conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients needs.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Provide direct patient care through therapeutic exercises, modalities, and other interventions.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting changes and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols, home exercises, and recovery strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
