Physical Therapist (PT) (Full-time)
About The Position
Quantum Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Full-time Physical Therapist. This role involves working collaboratively with all therapy teams, completing evaluations and necessary documentation, and providing recommendations to support communications and assessments. The Physical Therapist will provide therapy as outlined in treatment plans and prescriptions, offering treatments to improve patients' inabilities and challenges. Responsibilities also include independently managing workflow, allotting time for treatment documentation, and entering notes into the electronic records system. The successful candidate should be familiar with PDPM and align therapy treatments and plans with an understanding of Medicaid and Medicare billing.
Requirements
- New York PT License
- Background/experience in long term care (specifically a Skilled Nursing Facility)
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities and ability levels
- Creative problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with all therapy teams
- Complete evaluations and all necessary documentation
- Provide recommendations supporting communications/assessments
- Provide therapy as outlined in treatment plans and prescriptions
- Offer treatments that help improve patient’s inabilities and/or challenges
- Independently manage workflow which includes allotting time for treatment documentation of individual treatments and notes in the electronic records system
- Align therapy treatments and plans with an understanding of Medicaid and Medicare billing
