Physical Therapist – Founding Team (Start -Up)

Nursing Vault Plus StaffingMchenry, IL
Onsite

About The Position

Nursing Vault Plus Staffing is partnering with a premier healthcare provider to open a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in McHenry, IL. They are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join an exclusive start-up team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a "Founding Team," contributing to the establishment of the clinical culture and operational excellence of a new building from its inception. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated clinician who thrives in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Active Illinois Physical Therapist (PT) License in good standing.
  • Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and collaborative personality (for a "start-up" environment).
  • Proficiency in manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.

Nice To Haves

  • DPT preferred.
  • Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead patient evaluations and provide high-quality, evidence-based treatments for an outpatient orthopedic population.
  • Work closely with the initial leadership team to streamline workflows and optimize the patient experience in the new building.
  • Manage a Monday–Friday caseload with an emphasis on manual therapy, functional movement, and long-term wellness.
  • Maintain precise and timely electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Benefits

  • Top-Tier Hourly Pay: At up to $50/hr, this rate is at the high end of the market for outpatient orthopedics in the McHenry area, where the average often ranges between $40–$46/hr for staff positions.
  • The "Work-Life" Schedule: A strict Monday–Friday schedule is a major selling point in healthcare. Most PTs are used to rotating Saturdays or late evening shifts; this client offers the rare luxury of consistent weekends off.
  • Influence & Ownership: As part of the start-up team, the PT isn't just following rules—they are writing them. They get to help design the workflow, choose preferred equipment, and set the clinical "vibe" of the office.
  • Fast-Track Leadership: Joining a new facility at launch often leads to rapid promotion into Clinical Director or Lead Therapist roles as the building reaches capacity and more staff are hired.
  • Pristine Workspace: Working in a brand-new building means no outdated equipment or cramped "legacy" floor plans. It’s an environment that reflects the quality of care they provide.
  • Tech-Forward: New facilities typically launch with the latest EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems and modern modalities, reducing documentation burnout.
  • Building a Legacy: The therapist will be the "face" of the facility in McHenry. They will have the opportunity to build long-standing relationships with local physicians and patients from day one.
  • Concierge Onboarding: By working through your agency, the candidate has a dedicated advocate to handle the logistics of the hire, ensuring a smooth transition into the new role.
  • Exclusive Access: Candidates get a "first look" at this facility before it becomes saturated with applicants on public job boards.
