About The Position

Heartline Staffing, Strategic Talent Partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a Physical Therapist for a permanent acute care opportunity in Atlantis, Florida. The Physical Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the complete therapeutic process for an assigned patient population in coordination with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. This role focuses on goal achievement, patient engagement, and positive patient outcomes within an acute care hospital setting.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care Physical Therapy experience REQUIRED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient education skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an acute care hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and deliver treatment interventions within scope of practice and professional standards.
• Assess therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status and participate in developing individualized plans of care.
• Provide skilled therapeutic care aligned with physician treatment plans.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques, exercises, and therapeutic devices.
• Support continuity of care through effective interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Prioritize caseloads, determine daily staffing needs, and coordinate assignments and handoffs.
