Physical Therapy - PT SNF
About The Position
This position is for a Physical Therapist working day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) with a guaranteed 35 hours per week. The Physical Therapist will provide rehabilitation services to residents recovering from injury, illness, surgery, or functional decline. The role focuses on improving mobility, strength, balance, and independence in daily activities. The therapist will work closely with nursing staff and rehabilitation teams to develop treatment strategies that support recovery and improve overall quality of life for residents in a long-term care or post-acute rehabilitation setting.
Requirements
- Active Physical Therapist license in the appropriate state
- Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercise programs, gait training, balance rehabilitation, and fall prevention strategies
- Strong communication and documentation skills
