Physical Therapist - Adult Acute Care
About The Position
Work Schedule : 80% FTE, 32 hours per week. Shifts scheduled Tuesday 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Wednesday 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM and Saturday 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM. We are seeking a Physical Therapist (PT) with acute care experience to: Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to University Hospital in acute care settings. Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans. Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center. Seek continual learning opportunities to advance one’s own practice and educate others.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy Required
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 3 months Required
- 2 years of prior relevant experience Preferred
