About The Position

An established hospital located just outside of Wichita, Kansas is seeking full-time, permanent Physical Therapist to join their team! The Physical Therapist Job Description: Full-time, direct hire position Day or Mon-Fri schedule Great therapy leadership and administration team! A staff Physical Therapist assumes responsibility in the daily activities of therapy services. This includes the potential for evaluating and developing treatment plans for inpatients, skilled swing bed, IRU, and outpatients. A staff therapist administers physical therapy treatment to patients as defined in the Kansas Physical Therapy Practice Act. A staff therapist has the responsibility for the overall direction, utilization, supervision, instruction, and evaluation of professional and supportive staff and students in their area of rehabilitation services. In addition, the staff therapist is involved in documenting as necessary and appropriate, while also assisting with, or actively participating in, ACHS and safety procedures for the department/organization. Requirements

  • Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum approved by (APTA) or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or the American Physical Therapy Association and/or state certified
  • Must have obtained Kansas state license
  • Previous physical therapy experience preferred

Nice To Haves

  • APTA and/or Kansas Physical Therapy Association (KPTA) member preferred

Responsibilities
