About The Position

MPOWER Physical Therapy is looking for a Physical Therapist to add to our growing team. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctoral level degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited university required
  • Minimum two years’ experience in a physician office or orthopedic setting (new graduates must demonstrate superior ability to perform through a clinical affiliation or by other comparable means)
  • Active Physical Therapy license in the state of Tennessee
  • Extensive knowledge in exercise physiology, biomechanics and exercise prescription
  • Ability to manage treatment of multiple patients, administer appropriate modalities and supervise technicians
  • Working knowledge of billing issues, CPT codes and basic knowledge of insurance related issues
  • Comfortable effectively using MS office programs such as MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook
  • Great verbal and written communication
  • Neat and professional appearance
  • Able to maintain company legal and professional confidentiality requirements across employees, patients, and clients

Nice To Haves

  • Extensive training in orthopedic care and manual therapy preferred
  • Management experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients and complete appropriate documentation in a timely fashion
  • Supervise therapy technicians
  • Maintain agreed upon schedule and productivity standards
  • Comply with billing and documentation requirements and standards set by the practice
  • Provide home education materials to all patients through practice preferred software
  • Assist supervisor in daily operational duties as needed
  • Participate and help foster an environment of continued learning in our pursuit of clinical excellence
  • Communicate appropriately with physicians and their staff on patient care issues
  • Participate in professional development activities, continuing education, and maintain professional affiliations
