About The Position

Easterseals Florida is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our Pediatric Outpatient Therapy Program. This role focuses on evaluating and treating pediatric clients while collaborating with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality of care. Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate preferred)
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Florida
  • Ability to meet our approved driver qualifications in order to drive your personal vehicle, as required to drive for program related business

Nice To Haves

  • Medicaid and National Provider Number preferred
  • Previous pediatric experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications and EMR systems
  • Flexibility and commitment to self-development
  • Integrity, tact, and sound judgment

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for pediatric clients
  • Document evaluations, progress notes, billing, and treatment plans using EMR systems
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on evidence-based practices
  • Establish and achieve client goals outlined in the Plan of Care
  • Manage assigned caseload efficiently and supervise PTA(s)
  • Coordinate care with school staff, early intervention programs, case managers, parents/guardians, and clinical directors
  • Provide client and family education
