About The Position

This position provides effective and comprehensive physical therapy care to clients and patients. The role also involves serving as a mentor and instructor within mentorship and residency programs.

Requirements

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy required
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in outpatient orthopedics setting required
• Able to communicate effectively in the English language
• Basic arithmetic skills are required
• Identifies and resolves problems promptly
• Must be computer-literate and able to navigate software applications
• Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in Tennessee or Mississippi, depending on the assigned location
• Able to listen and respond well to questions and feedback

Nice To Haves

• Advanced certifications (OCS, SCS, Manual Therapy) preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and effective physical therapy care to a wide variety of patients
• Serves as a subject matter expert in the field of orthopedics
• Provides direct mentorship to mentees and residents
• Ability to deliver educational in-services and lectures on orthopedic sub-specialty
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and co-workers
• Regular and predictable attendance
• Ability to work cooperatively with others
• Performs other duties as assigned above and beyond staff therapist level
