Springfield Memorial is seeking a dynamic physical therapist to join our outpatient team. In this role you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with a wide variety of impairments, working collaboratively with our physician partners, and advancing your skill set with our clinical ladder program. The Physical Therapist II is responsible and accountable for providing examinations, evaluations, therapy diagnosis, interventions, and prognosis in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The Therapist II will their knowledge base through: serving as a clinical instructor for students, mentoring new staff, and participating inmunity education activities. The Therapist II will participate in performance improvement and program development activities. Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or entry level equivalent is required. Must be Licensed or license pending in the State of Illinois and without previous disciplinary action in Illinois or any other state. Current CPR card. CPR Certification preferred. Experience: 2 yrs of experience required. Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Achieves & maintains 11-20 points on the Clinical Ladder Grid. Basicputer skills required. Ability to clearly and effectivelymunicate with patients, families, peer and other team members as needed for assessment, intervention, and professional development.
