About The Position

Franciscan Health Indianapolis Campus 8111 S Emerson Ave Indianapolis, Indiana 46237 Physical Therapist-Full time Outpatient Neuro The Physical Therapist II is responsible for providing evaluation and treatment of the patient within the parameters of legal and professional guidelines, and hospital and departmental policies and procedures. The Physical Therapist II instructs and directs Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Technicians as assigned. This position evaluates and implements the plan of care to improve, restore and enhance physical functional performance, and promote injury prevention. The Physical Therapist II performs documentation and quality improvement, as outlined in departmental policies and procedures. Provide those services or treatments requiring physical therapist skill, according to the written patient care plan and the signed plan of treatment. Demonstrate understanding of correlation between OASIS assessments and outcomes reporting. Communicate regularly with all disciplines involved in the care of the patient. Complete and initial and ongoing assessment (OASIS if appropriate) to determine level of functioning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy
  • Master's Degree Physical Therapy
  • 1 year Physical Therapist
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) - American Heart Association
  • Physical Therapist (PT) - State Licensing Board

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate Physical Therapy
  • Certified as required by specialization
