Physical Therapist Inpatient
About The Position

We are currently seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Inpatient Therapy Team at NMC Health. In this hospital-based role, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality therapy services to patients in an Inpatient setting. Your expertise and compassionate care will support recovery and improve quality of life for our patients as they heal. Sign-On Bonus eligible.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Kansas.
- Must have, or immediately obtain Basic life support (BLS) certification. Must maintain BLS certification
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Previous inpatient or hospital experience preferred, but not required
- Member of APTA and/or KPTA preferred
Responsibilities
- Evaluating patients and developing individualized treatment plans
- Providing evidence-based physical therapy services to inpatients and other designated levels of care
- Supervising and guiding supportive staff and therapy students
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Documenting treatments, progress, and care plans in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participating in safety procedures, quality improvement activities, and department initiatives
