About The Position
This position is for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) working Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, averaging 35 hours per week with weekend rotation. The PTA provides rehabilitation services in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), assisting patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery. The role focuses on improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Requirements
- Candidates must hold an active PTA license in the applicable state
- Completed an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and patient safety practices is required
- Effective communication and documentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or long-term care settings is preferred
