Physical Therapist Assistant
About The Position
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant Location: Based out of Bethlehem, PA Schedule: Per diem (PRN) Monday through Friday. Center hours 7am-6:30pm. 1 evening a week until 6:30 preferred. Closes at 3pm on Fridays. Compensation: Hourly range is $32-$40/hr based on your experience. Unique Location/Job Details: Per diem based out of our Bethlehem outpatient clinic but covering other locations in the Lehigh Valley as needed. Indirect Supervision preferred. Our NovaCare Rehabilitation outpatient orthopedic center is seeking a licensed physical therapist assistant (PTA) to provide top-notch patient care to patients of all ages and abilities. Requirements
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
