About The Position
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. This role involves delivering treatment programs, monitoring patient progress, and assisting patients in achieving independence.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree from accredited PTA program.
- Current state PTA license.
- Knowledge of therapy techniques and equipment.
- Ability to follow treatment directions.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Nice To Haves
- Clinical experience in rehabilitation or long-term care settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Carry out PT treatment plans for individuals and groups.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and activities as directed.
- Educate patients on mobility and assistive devices.
- Document treatment and patient response.
- Report changes to supervising PT.
