Delta View Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its elite in-house therapy team. Requirements
- Current, valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
- Proven ability to relate positively and appropriately with patients, families, and professional colleagues.
- A proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist and in accordance with physician-approved care plans.
- Maintain daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in strict compliance with PT Board requirements.
- Effectively communicate with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress, challenges, and discharge plans.
- Instruct patients’ families and nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training to ensure a safe transition home.
- Assist the nursing department in training Restorative Aides to maintain patient functional gains.
- Participate in facility upkeep and report any equipment issues to ensure a safe, high-functioning rehab environment.
