Delta View Post-Acute is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its elite in-house therapy team. Requirements

  • Current, valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
  • Proven ability to relate positively and appropriately with patients, families, and professional colleagues.
  • A proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the Physical Therapist and in accordance with physician-approved care plans.
  • Maintain daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes in strict compliance with PT Board requirements.
  • Effectively communicate with supervisors and health team members regarding patient progress, challenges, and discharge plans.
  • Instruct patients’ families and nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training to ensure a safe transition home.
  • Assist the nursing department in training Restorative Aides to maintain patient functional gains.
  • Participate in facility upkeep and report any equipment issues to ensure a safe, high-functioning rehab environment.
