About The Position
Physical Therapy Assistant Full time Outpatient setting/Skilled Nursing Facility (shared role) within senior community Waterman Village in Mount Dora Florida.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in good standing
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
Nice To Haves
- Long term care, short term rehab and outpatient experience preferred
- Lymphedema and Parkinsons Certification a plus
Responsibilities
- Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
- Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
- Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
- Aquatic Therapy Program
- Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
- Flexibility and comfort in multiple areas on campus (OP and SNF settings)
