About The Position

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Home Health Primary Service Area: Wilkes County, NC Schedule/Hours per Week: Monday-Friday (40 hours) Hugh Chatham Health at Home (formerly Yadkin Valley Home Health) proudly serves Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Davie, Forsyth, Iredell, Stokes, Surry, Wilkes and Yadkin counties in NC. Carries out treatment, implementation and documentation of client status for home health clients under the direction of the registered physical therapist.

Requirements

• Graduate of a two-year college-level program approved by the American PT Association
• Achieved a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service
• Licensed as a physical therapy assistant in North Carolina

Responsibilities

• Carries out treatment
• Implementation and documentation of client status for home health clients under the direction of the registered physical therapist
