The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides skilled therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support the recovery, mobility, and functional independence of patients in a hospital setting. Participate in team meetings, contributes to quality and process improvement initiatives, and supports department goals for excellence in patient care and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility)

- Experience in acute care or a comparable clinical environment preferred
Responsibilities
- Implementing individualized treatment plans
- Assisting with patient mobility and exercise programs
- Documenting progress in the electronic medical record
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and efficient discharge planning
