PTA-Physical Therapist Assistant Full-Time
About The Position
Are you passionate about helping others heal and regain independence? Arvin Post Acute is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dedicated rehab team. Located just outside Bakersfield in Arvin, CA, our facility provides high-quality care in a supportive and collaborative environment. About the Role: As a PTA, you will work hands-on with patients to implement physical therapy plans designed by licensed Physical Therapists. You’ll play a key role in helping patients recover from illness, surgery, or injury, promoting mobility, function, and quality of life.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active California PTA license
- CPR certification required
- Experience in SNF or rehabilitation setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Document patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical staff to ensure coordinated care
- Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and facility policies
