Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) PRN
About The Position
Independence Rehab is actively looking to hire a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our outpatient clinic at Cascades at Grants Pass/The Pointe, located at 1400 Redwood Circle. In this role you will provide PTA services to our on-site residents. You will also have opportunity to help build the caseload by working closely with the Executive Director, Wellness Director, and caregivers. You should anticipate working 5-15 hours per week. As the caseload grows, this position could grow into full-time. At Independence Rehab, our goal in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is to provide each patient with top-quality care. Here are a few SNF practice-specific items: Occasionally treating clinically complex patients Proficient with all types of transfers Provide mobility re-training If you need help with any of the above competencies, we are happy to provide competency training! Our preference is a therapist who has worked at least one year in a skilled nursing facility, but if you are a caring, passionate, licensed therapist who enjoys the geriatric population, we would love to hear from you!
