At Centerpoint Health in Winchester, H2 Health provides inpatient therapy services to a diverse adult and geriatric population. Our clinicians treat a wide range of diagnoses including neurological conditions, stroke, medically complex cases, orthopedic injuries, balance disorders, and functional mobility impairments. Whether you enjoy working with a broad inpatient caseload or supporting specialized programs such as neurorehabilitation or post-surgical recovery, we value your clinical skills and dedication to patient-centered care. Your Role: As Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in this inpatient hospital setting, you will: Deliver skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist Implement individualized treatment plans focused on mobility training, gait training, balance retraining, and functional restoration Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate progress or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing, case management, and OT/SLP teams Educate patients and families on exercise programs, safety techniques, and discharge recommendations Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with hospital standards This is an experienced-level role and is not designed for new graduates.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active state PTA license or eligibility for licensure
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical reasoning skills
- Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
Responsibilities
