Parsons is looking for a talented Physical Security Specialist (PhySS) to join our team! In this role, you will design and maintain security measures for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) and ensure compliance with federal standards. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in physical security, SCIF management, or related fields.
  • Strong knowledge of federal standards such as ICD 705 for physical security and access control.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct inspections, audits, and implement corrective actions effectively.
  • An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with intrusion detection systems and access control technologies.
  • Experience providing training on SCIF protocols and managing accreditation documentation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of best practices for maintaining SCIF integrity and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain security measures for Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs).
  • Certify compliance with federal standards (e.g., ICD 705) for physical security, access control, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify SCIF integrity.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to address security vulnerabilities and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training on SCIF protocols and manage documentation for accreditation and compliance.
