About The Position

Physical Security Specialist II will be responsible for protecting information assets through physical security systems and solutions, policies and procedures, and compliance management. This role involves assessing risks, developing security protocols, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations, and having in-depth knowledge of access control and security camera systems.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of physical security systems, technologies, and architecture
Ability to conduct risk assessments and interpret security data
Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to new systems and processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills
English (Fluent)

Responsibilities

In-depth knowledge of access control, security camera systems, and visitor/vehicle registration systems
Standardize security screening operations (Metal detector, X-ray, etc.)to streamline and improve screening
Conduct gap analysis to remediate deficiencies and improve security operations
Support physical security awareness improvement for all North America locations
Improve vulnerabilities through gap analysis and site audits
Create and conduct awareness raising trainings
Create, update, and enforce policies and standard operating procedures
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and industry-specific security regulations (KNCT, ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
Lead and/or support the implementation of physical security equipment
Evaluate security vendors and record a North America-wide vendor list
